Critic Scott Simpson, rating 7/10, says -
Well, the wait is over. Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice are for the first time in history together in a large screen film. The result? Batman v Superman has its moments from action and every one which could rival Man of Steel, but it was difficult to not walk out of the film and feel disappointed. To get a film that finished filming above a year ago, you'll think Zack Snyder and Warner Bros would make each of the effort on the planet to edit in and out the stuff that is important and tighten the movie, but this isn't the case. The other big problem the film has is marketing and its title. The fight itself is phenomenal. The focus was all on the place. Man does it take a very long time, although everything from the fight on the ending is good cinema. I actually sat in the theater saying to myself "I am kind of bored right now". Does that happen Batman v Superman?
