It is a film that is only meant for the single display crowd. I saw it in that theatre with two hundred other wild SRK enthusiasts about, cried my heart out when the guy appeared on the display for the very first time, cheered loud on every catchy dialogue as well as tried to dance somewhat through the ‘Laila’ tune featuring Sunny Leone. And I wound up loving it into a tremendous extent.
Broadly on the basis of the life span of Abdul Latif and place in the early eighties to the first nighties, Raees is a clear-cut picture which mainly shows the conflict between standard great versus evil that is necessary, obscuring the line between wrong and right. We get a scene where we see his companion and Raees eating something that certainly resembles the most anti-national food.
Addititionally there is this amazing scene where Kalaa Paththar has been played at a Drive-in theater, while SRK defeats a haphazard arsehole blue and black. At the center of all these, the Nawzuddin Siddique that is great plays that police officer character in a way that is unique to allow it to be a standout. Going together with the Star, he manages to earn “ citie-talis and considerable cheers ” from the crowd.
The Star here, is in supreme form. Regardless of the powerful existence of Mahira Khan, Atul Kulkarni, Nawazuddin and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub; this is make no mistake, King Khan’s movie. In an extremely smart and calculative way, SRK pulls up the larger than life Raees and mixes up both of his characters, the star as well as the underappreciated celebrity concealed in. Fuelled through an unlimited quantity of swagger as well as the ever so-charming screen presence, SRK makes Raees a character for with whom you really feel for him and get connected.
